Construction foils
Description
Construction foils are used in construction as foils for insulation, coating or as protection of products from dust, moisture or sun. As a standard in construction, a single-layer, colored PE film is used, which is 4 m wide and 0.150 mm thick, while in agriculture, the most common PE black film is 1 m or 1.2 m wide and 0.040 mm – 0.060 mm thick.

Field of application
- PE film in construction usually has a protective role in covering certain areas or machines in order to protect against weather, moisture, dust and dirt
- Also, due to their barrier properties, PE films are used as a vapor barrier
- PE black film is used in agriculture for growing fruits and vegetables and is applied directly to the soil (mulch), thus preventing the growth of weeds and insect attacks, and maintaining humidity and stable soil temperature.
